Day 1: Puerto Montt – Melinka
Private transport from Puerto Montt (from the place where the passengers are, in the city) towards the aerodrome La Paloma. This aerodrome is situated in the urban range of the Puerto Montt city, far from 20 minutes. Once in the aerodrome, transfer to Melinka by air at 11:00 pm (1 hour flight).

Melinka is a town situated in the south of Chile, in the Ascención Island, in the north of the Aysén region, in the Guaitacas archipelago which corresponds to the “Chonos”. The name “Melinka” corresponds to a Russian vocabulary which means “beloved”. Nowadays, Melinka is the biggest village of the commune and the archipelago of the Guaitecas.

Return to the Melinka’s aerodrome at 12:00. Transport until the Hotel “Ruca Chonos”. Lunch at the Hotel.

At 1:00 pm, transfer to the Melinka’s coast in order to embark “La Petrel IV” in which we will go by the archipelago’s surroundings. For example, Apple Canal (between Gunter and Ema Islands) sight at dolphins and birds; Leucayec Canal and going along the Leucayec Island, Pochas Islets, sight at birds and marine fauna; Raven Island and Canal, surrounding the Gran Guaitecas Island , the Puquitin Canal; Landing .

Return to Melinka to be at 7:00 pm in the village’s coast. Transfer to “La Hostal”, situated at 2 blocks only. Diner and accommodation.
Day 2: Melinka
Transfer from the Hotel at 06:15 am at the Melinka’s coast. Weigh anchor at 06:30 am. Breakfast aboard the boat at 08:00 am, reaching Caleta Granizo in 40 minutes. Arrival at the Queitao’s islets, navigation in order to find cetaceans (inside the Corcovado Golf); 1:00 pm lunch aboard, staying near the Locos Islet. Sight of the fauna (penguins for example) and then. Beginning of the return to Melinka, by the Julia and Aguda Islands at 05:00 pm. Arrival in Melinka at 7:00 pm. Transport to the Hotel, diner and accommodation.
Day 3: Puerto Montt
08:00 Breakfast. At 10:00 am approximately, transfer to the Melinka’s airport. Returning flight to the Puerto Montt city in a small plane. End of the services.
